What is Parc de Loisirs du Pontet

The Parc de Loisirs du Pontet is the largest leisure complex in Mont-Blanc country, located in Les Contamines-Montjoie in Val Montjoie, at the foot of France's largest nature reserve. The park spans 30 hectares and includes a natural mountain lake and a developed swimming lake with a supervised beach in season.

Created in 1952 as a summer attraction for the resort, the park today offers over 20 activities: boat and pedalo rental, equestrian centre, forest adventure course, 18-hole mini golf, golf practice range, archery, football, basketball and volleyball courts, trampolines, inflatable structures, polar dog park, donkey hiking. The site also hosts a campsite-caravan park, a hikers' guesthouse and several independent providers.

Access to the park itself is free all season. Each activity offered by providers is charged individually. The exceptional natural setting — flower-filled meadows, fir forests and Mont-Blanc peaks as a backdrop — makes Pontet a cherished place for relaxation and leisure for families in summer.
